Audio-visual Culture
The course examines the interplay of music, sound and visual images on a basis of current angles of approach and interpretation, as well as in association with theories taken from the auditive and visual fields. Objects of study include entire audio-visual environments, art with sound such as installations and video art, film, television, computer games and all forms of sound design. The students execute practical exercises where method and theory from the field are applied.
The course is an optional course in the programme Master in Visual Culture
