Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Zhejiang University
Together with the School of Management at Zhejiang University, Lund University established this centre in 2005. The centre aims to create interaction between university and society and to facilitate collaboration between them. The cooperation between universities, business communities and governmental agencies in the areas of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development has become a key issue for China’s continued development effort. Both Zhejiang University and Lund University are engaged in the development of regional science parks and business incubators neighboring the two universities, where a lot of innovative work takes place and new companies are created. The centre is a platform for good collaboration in these areas and it opens up channels for educational and research cooperation in the real world.
