My research interest lies mostly within conservation biology and in
particular avian conservation and ecology. My PhD research focused on
population ecology and management of waders breeding on coastal meadows
in southern Sweden. This is an ongoing project where interactions
between habitat and predation of wader nests are investigated.
Presently, I am involved in analysing the effects of an agri-environment
scheme on bird diversity. Moreover, I have carried out molecular studies
on phylogeography and speciation of waders and penguins.
