Farhan Sarwar´s dissertation has been of great interest in media.
Farhan Sarwars avhandling har fått en stor uppmärksamhet i massmedia. Nedan lite exempel.
Den åtalade nekade i sten men hade inte en chans. Sex ögonvittnen, varav tre poliser, pekade med full säkerhet ut honom som den person som hade försökt skjuta ihjäl en polis i samband med ett misslyckat gripande.

Ögonvittnen spelar en central roll i polisens brottsutredningar. Men hur troligt är det att de minns rätt? Polisen fäster idag alltför stor vikt vid ögonvittnesskildringar. Det menar Farhan Sarwar vid Lunds universitet som i dagarna disputerar med en avhandling i vittnespsykologi.

Polisen lägger alltför stor vikt på ögonvittnesskildringar. Detaljer glöms bort och vittnesmål kan lätt bli direkt felaktiga. Det visar resultatet av en ny avhandling vid Lunds universitet.
