Bjørn Carl Nielsen
Bjørn Carl Nielsen, oboe and chamber music, was given his education by Lothar Koch in Berlin. Since 1968 he has been a member of the Danish Wood Wind Quintet, an ensemble regarded as one of the finest in Scandinavia and with an international reputation. Of great importance for the Quintet has been the famous conductor Sergiu Celibidache, who has been an important source of inspiration.
Bjørn Carl Nielsen is playing the oboe in the Danish Radio Symphony orchestra.
