Caitriona Yeats
Caitriona Yeats graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Music in The Hague where she studied with Edward Witsenburg. She was appointed solo harpist with the NDR Symphony Orchestra in Hamburg. After moving to the United States in 1980 she spent five years as second harpist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra before being appointed principal harpist with the Cincinatti Symphony Orchestra. In 1993 she took up her present position of solo harpist with the DR SymfoniOrkestret. Aside from her orchestral work Caitriona Yeats gives solo and chamber music concerts and workshops and is active as a teacher.
