Theory Test
Candidates for the Composition and Performance Bachelor Programme must complete a
theory test at their first choice of school. The result of the test can
be used for all applications to music academies within the same
application session (note: this does NOT include music teacher´s
programmes). Candidates may only complete the test ONCE for each
application session.
The audition is obligatory for all candidates for the Composition and Performance Bachelor Programme, classical specialisation (with the exception of guitarists, jazz musicians, world musicians, harpsichordists and pianists).
Please note that for admittance to the Malmö Academy of Music the piano audition needs to be carried out in Malmö.
Please note that the application for the Bachelor Programme must be carried out at the Swedish website Antagning.se even if you are an international applicant, all though the application for the Master Programme can be done in English at Universityadmissions.se. You are most welcome to contact us at admissions@mhm.lu.se if you need help to fill out your application for the Bachelor Programme at the Swedish website.
