I did my PhD on colour vision in vertebrates in the Lund Vision Group 2004 - 2008. I have been performing behavioural experiments on the trichromatic nocturnal helmet gecko, and on the dichromatic horse to determine and understand both their colour vision capabilities. The PhD work has also included optical experiments on nocturnal geckos in order to understand the functional importance of various adaptations for vision under low-light conditions.
Now I am a lecturer at the University of Linköping where I am mostly teaching Animal Behaviour courses. My research now is on feather colours in chicken and djungle fowl.
