Charlotte Christensen-Nugues

Christensen-Nugues, PhD, is Associate professor in history of ideas and sciences. Her dissertation, "And they should be one heart: The doctrine of consent in medieval canon law" (2003), concerned the marriage legislation in medieval canon law. Her current reasearch concerns different aspect of the theory of consent in the Middle Ages and the early modern period, with special focus on the impediment of force and fear.
