My current research revolves around the human body in relation to bioscience and biopolitics. My project “Anatomy in the Expanded Field”, funded by the Swedish Research Council (2011-2013), examines how biomedical images change our understanding of the human body. It is linked to the Linnaeus research environment Bagadilico, where I am PI since 2013 for The Cultural Science Research Team.
I also have the project “MRI Artistic Research”, with artist Conny Blom, funded by the Humanistic Research Group, LU (2011-2013). The objective is to design an MRI experiment that map what kind of questions MRI allows.
I also conduct research about biology as cultural heritage, and co-manages research initiations within Law & Humanities, Visual Ecocriticism, and an interdisciplinary project about stem cell research.
Read more about it under the heading About my research.
