Peter Spissky

Peter Spissky is a concertmaster in Concerto Copenhagen, an orchestra which is today recognised as one of the leading early music ensembles in Europe. With CoCo, Peter is involved in regular concert tours (i.e. Musikverein in Vienna, Concertgebouw Ansterdam) and recordings with conductors such as Lars Ulrik Mortensen and Andrew Lawrence King. As a guest concertmaster/conductor he appears with Barokkanerne in Oslo and Camerata Darammatica in Reykjavik. He is often invited to lead or instruct modern chamber orchestras. He is a member of The Baroque Fever ensemble with concert invitations from all around Europe.

Peter Spissky is a teacher in baroque violin at the Musikhögskolan I Malmö and gives Master Classes all around Scandinavia.
