We are responsible for the following courses:
In the basic botany course you will learn about plants, algae and fungi. You will also learn how the different organisms within these groups are related, how they are built and how they live. The course is given in Swedish and is included in the Bachelor's program in Biology.
In the basic floristics course you learn how to identify families and species in the Swedish flora. The course includes one field week where we stay at "Degeberga semesterby". The course is given in Swedish and is included in the Bachelor's program in Biology.
In the basic floristics course you learn how to identify families and species in the Swedish flora. The course includes one field week where we stay at "Degeberga semesterby". The course is given in Swedish.
In the intermediate floristics course you learn even more about the Swedish flora. The main focus is species but the course also teaches inventory methods, analysis of plant communities and cultural plants. The course is given in Swedish.
This course consists of a 14 days long excursion to the Swedish mountains. The course includes conservation problems, mountain plant species and ecology and is given in English.
This course teaches the diversity, phylogeny and sytematics of the angiosperms (the flowering plants). Molecular methods and evolutionary processed are discussed. Studies are carried out at 25% of full time using an web-based approach but three IRL-meetings are included. The course is given in English.
This course deals with species identification but also inventory methods and signal species. The course is given in English (or Swedish if no English-speaking participants).

This course deald with the questions regarding the evolution and diversity of plants. It is based on a mixture of lectures, exercises, practical laboratory studies and excursions. The course is given in English and is included in the Master's program in Plant Ecology and Systematics.
