The ITP programme started in 2003 and was redesigned in 2010 after a public tender. During the years 2003-2012, more than 430 change agents from 20 countries have completed the programme, and most of them are still working for Child Rights in their respective countries. In 2013 the 18th and 19th batch will start the programme and an Impact and Dissemination Seminar with batch 8-14 will also be held during the year. The purpose of this seminar is to further enhance the participants in their role as change agents, collect the results and effects of the training programme at national level and build on the earlier results from the Impact and dissemination seminar that was held in 2009.
The main objective of the training programme is to initiate change processes that will contribute to the realization of the intention of the Child Rights Convention in policy as well as in practice. For more information about the programme and its objectives, you are welcome to download the information brochure on the right or read more in the left-hand menu. On this site you are also welcome to apply on-line to the programme.
